Looking to buy a new trolling motor what is the big difference between the two? I know the blades are different and with the Xi5 you get wireless foot pedal

The Xi3 is available in 12 & 24 volts and is more compact. It is generally for smaller boats, say under 18'. The foot pedal is available as a separate purchase. The Xi5 is available in 12, 24 & 36 volts. It is usually for boats over 18' and comes with the foot pedal.
