Need thoughts/ideas of a name for the newest addition to the family. We adopted a dog on Saturday. It has been around 5-6 years since Rusteedog passed and the wife has been looking for a few months and said this is the one. So far he has been a great little companion, courageous, minds well, is half house broken, gets in his bed at night, stays by your side & don't run off. So far he has not chewed anything up. I took him to the boat storage, was building some shelves & put him on the boat (cover in tact) and he showed no worries, he walked all over the cover, front to back, side to side and then when he was done, he leaped off into my arms. While working he sat & watched every move I made. We are however struggling with a name, so I thought I would ask the wise & all knowing to help with a name. Take a look & see what y'all think & give us your thoughts & ideas. We have thought of Rascal, Ranger, Cole, Colby & Astro (wife is a HUGE Astro fan) but none seem to fit. Told the Wife I would seek the minds of the wise OT.

I had a dog that looked almost identical to him a long time ago. They told me he was part Treeing Walker Coonhound... he was an amazing dog, called him Tater...

A courageous, well-mannered, inquisitive, loyal little guy like that looks like a Mugsey to me.
