Had a little band competition at Plano Senior High School yesterday. I drove the bus along with the 3 directors and 8 students. Went after the competition which ended around 4. Had to park at Sanibels next door. 25 minute wait. It was pretty good but way overpriced in my opinion. Tried a little of everything but my favorite was the bacon wrapped chicken, top sirloin, and filet mignon. Our director paid for everybody but won’t mention how much.

Oddly enough, I’ve never been to any of the steak houses like TDB

I have been to several and think the only thing they offer is a lot of food. Their meat isn’t a very good grade and is tough. That is why they slice it so thin at the table. For the cost I would rather go to a mid priced steak house like Ruth Chris

I have eaten at the Addison location I found the steak a little on the salty side, I used to go to Estalio Gaucho in Frisco quit a bit and found the food and meat much better, but since Covid started Estalio no longer has the buffet with meats/cheeses and salad and they no longer have lamb chops. But I enjoy the brazil style steakhouse due to I can sample different cuts of meats.

Went one time and I agree with the quality of the meat being only average. I wouldn`t argue about the price if the meat was better. Salad bar was the best part. Haven`t been back.

We have one here in S.A., wasn't impressed for the price. The hot chick that got the wine bottles stacked 50' high was the best part of the whole experience. We all had a soda and water and the waiter decided he would bring us some $10 a bottle water, to spike the tab. Well that was $30 off his tip. Haven't been back since the rona started, and probably won't ever go back. It was not worth the price, plus I don't care to take a bite off a piece of meat that has been to every table in the restaurant.

What kinds of meat do they serve?
Heard of a place years ago that served exotic meats like animals from Africa. That place still exist?

Gaucho Do Sol in Vintage Park is very good. If ever in Houston/Cypress/Champions area, pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed. Perry's Steakhouse is also very good, best Pork Chop in Texas!
Reality. What a concept!

I agree with whoever said it's better to pay for a Ruth's Chris than a TDB or FGC
