Got a ton of of used slabs, jigs that need a little love. Trying to save $ by doing a little reconditioning instead of buying new. Anyone have advice on paint, parts, etc?

Slabs are pretty easy to repair. The first thing you need to do is decide how concerned you are about how you want them to look. I have simply pained them with cheap paint and they work fine. You can use automobile silver bumper paint if you want them to shine. If you want to go to extremes you can get adhesive holographic paper and put it on the sides. You can add eyes and cover them with clear epoxy if you want them fancy. I buy almost all of my supplies from eBay to save money. You can replace hooks and split rings if needed.

Buy sharp hooks and spray paint everything chartreuse.
