A new report released Monday revealed California saw the greatest net loss in U-Haul migration in 2021, the second consecutive year the Golden State ranked 50th in the nation for U-Haul one-way migration.

The U-Haul Growth Index, an annual report that determines growth by calculating the net gain of one-way U-Haul trucks entering a state versus leaving in a calendar year, found that California had the largest net losses in one-way U-Haul trucks in 2021, followed by Illinois in 49th place.

As much as I loved saying / living that I'm from California, that changed over the past 10 years I lived there. I have never seen or lived in such an ill run state.

I should have moved to TX many many years ago when I had the 1st chance. Y'all doing it right. And I'm proud to live here and vote to keep that sh$t outta here as well.

Like Failla says, if liberals were serious about the environment they’d make every Uhaul coming out of california electric.

How about a liberal exit tax at all the horribly run states borders. Something like a 50% fee on their net worth and explain to them it will be needed to fund stupid since they will vote stupid when they arrive.

they should put a 5 year moratorium on voting when you move here from out of state.

That would be unconstitutional.

I think they should still be allowed to participate in our democracy, but only their votes for candidates that love America (e.g. no libs) shall be accepted. I’d probably have it go for 10 years minimum.

I grew up in Northern California. Little town, back then, called Redding. Fishing on Shasta lake, water skiing, trout fishing in the mountains, dove hunting and deer hunting. It was a good place back then...the 70's. Left in 78 and never looked back. When back a couple of times on business in the 90's and didn't recognize the place especially Silly-con Valley...:) Many of my friend never left California. Not everybody is a liberal there it just seems like it. And given the govt has been and continues to be dominated by liberals it is no surprise to me how the state has gone down hill. Too expensive to live there and too many crazy laws and people now.

Wife went to a Denton County office building yesterday to renew her driver's license. While she waited, three other folks were applying for licenses: one from Cali, one from Illinois and one from Maryland. The blue state exodus is in full swing.
