I haven’t fished Fork in quite a while. Just bought an RV and got an annual lot at Caney point RV resort. The ramp there looks too short to launch at the current water level. What are the closest ramps that are safe to launch at currently that might be close to me? I was hoping to take the boat out in the next few days to explore. Anyone in here stay at that park?

154 public ramp, minnow bucket & Oak ridge ramps are close to you and are good to use.

This! 154 looked like spring time last week. Trailers all the way out to the highway.

Oak Ridge would be where I launch...several good fishing spots near there.

Oak Ridge is where we typically launch from but, be careful. We used it last week when the lake was around 6" low, and the trailer will fall off some at the end. The west side of the ramp is used most and is blown out more at the end from power loading. It is still usable but use caution at the end of it. The 154 public ramp by the Minnow Bucket is the deepest ramp on the lake from my recollection. Not really sure about the Minnow Buckets ramp but a quick call to them would get you an answer.

YUP YUP YUP!! When the lake was down 7+', Popes was good to go. At that time I was told there was still another 20' of ramp in the water. No dog in this hunt, I've already paid my $75 yearly fee to launch, good folks, good ramp, and so far, NO THEFT. Not usually too many folks there during the week. My 2cents. thumb
