Beautiful day on the water. Surface temp is about 60 degrees. Lake is down 5 feet with one foot to go. Only fished about 3 hours. Started fishing trees on the creeks about 10-15 ft deep. Nothing. Finally caught 1 bass 4-5 pounds fishing a point with timber and wind blowing in to it about 10 feet deep. Sixth Sense black and blue jig with trailer. I have a feeling fish are really scattered right now but relating to timber and the depth of the shad. A lot of Shad in the 10-15 ft range. Merry Christmas!

I was out there most of the daylight hours. I didn't do much better; 3 extremely small fish and a 3-4 pounder on a football jig.

Yeah. I probably should have switched from a jig to a spinner bait, an under spin or a crank bait and run points with timber, covering a lot of water.
