You well outdid me Saturday Chris. I saw the toads, but they were having nothing to do with me. Ended up with 8 fish, nothing over 14. Not even pic worthy.
But the fish were roughly the same depth you caught yours. I also marked a bunch shallow. Mainly box fish, but there were a few good one's scattered about.

I got lucky Trent. You know as well as anyone that a successful day of Trophy Bluecatn 80% skill and 20% luck. Saturday that 20% kicked in for me.🍀🍀🍀

It was brutal Saturday. The area I wanted to fish was a little to far south. I got the boat slowed but my boards were riding the waves like surfers. We ended up with a couple decent fish and a few eaters. Luckily it was a two day trip and we made up ground Sunday with a 50 and 35 double and a few more in the 20s. Had a bunch of eaters as well.

That is freakin awesome Chris! We’ve been fishing the worst days a lot lately. Gotta saddle up and get back out there. We’re headed to Twok after Christmas to try and hug some 50lbrs. Looking at the forecast it’s calling for 80° before we go and I certainly don’t like hearing that. Got a 62lbr last month but other than that it’s been nothing but 2Os and a few 30s for us. Gotta get some lake monsters like yours soon buddy!!

Next 2 days the big bite will be on fire! No time to go!

Fishing 28th and 29th with Tim and Wyatt on my boat. Getting down there the evening of 27th. Come on down Matt. Jimmy is bringing his boat and I think Santa is bringing his boat too. We’re all staying at Anchor Inn.

Looking forward to hugging some 50s too brother! Can't wait.
