My wife slipped up and let the cat out of the bag on the kayak she got me for Christmas. Anyone have any info on the perception pescador 10?

Welcome to the forum! I've never been in the 10 but Pescador kayaks are solid well built kayaks. Try to avoid overloading it and add either a rudder or skeg to it. 10 foot yaks are a little harder to paddle in especially in wind/waves and a rudder or even a skeg will help reduce and in many cases even eliminate that. Take it out a couple times before you start rigging it out.

You get out of it what you put into it!

I myself have not fished in one, but talked to a fella at my local small lake when I was putting in and he said his was stable and pretty comfy. Happy you are getting a Yak and hope you enjoy it sir.

I have owned a 10ft Pescador. I am 6' 190 and the kayak handled me and gear well. I would own another as a buddy yak if I didn't already have 2 yaks.
