I am curious, several posters have said that heavy fog can interfere with GPS, which I was surprised to hear, and was concerning, since many of us use GPS. I did a little research and I can't find any source that confirms the statement the fog interferes with GPS. The only thing I could find said fog has no affect. Attached is one of the sites I saw, there are several others. http://www.gpsinformation.net/gpsclouds.htm

I am not trying to start an argument, I just want to be well informed and safe. If anyone has contradictory information, please post it.

My spot lock, which obviously is GPS enabled, fails to lock onto satellites under bridges, and CLOSE to tall dams, from time to time. Maybe the proximity to the dam could have blocked enough satellite signal to cause an error on location. Just an idea. I don’t think it was GPS related though. Someday, when the anglers recover, it will all be known and maybe even joked about. But, right now, I just wish em well.

I've never heard that either, maybe he was thinking radar like the anglers were running at the LA Delta Classic

This is Brady. As I currently sit I the hospital in Tyler, I wanted to express my most sincere "thank you" for all the prayers and well wishers. Yes, I have a Lot of issues currently that I am battling. I have a broken back that has now been fused, a broken right femur, broken left ankle, a broken clavicle and two broken ribs. The legs will require at lest one surgery each. I was moved from ICU Saturday to a normal room. Since then. I have pretty much been in little in and out float comas trying to recover. I am in a lot of pain , the PT has been excruciating thus far, but I will make it. I could have had my funeral last week instead. My Dr's are optimistic that I will have a satisfactory recovery.

I am 46 years old, I have been fishing since I was about 4.I have already tried to a good friend to people... When I was brought to consciousness last Tuesday and learned of the Benefit tournament as well as the Go Fund Me account. I just sat there and cried. I am so blessed! The fishing industry is large, yet small. It has all been so flattering to me and my family. We are forever grateful and thank you each from the bottom of our hearts.

Continued prayers for a speedy recovery Brady!

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach
