I've seen Shaq explain this in detail. You should only fill your tank half full, that way it will only cost you half as much...problem solved.

I know that's worth at least $3,000 take home pay for me each year, which is a good thing since that's how much more it is costing me for the same commodity.

Let's go Brandon! Aww, bleep that. FJB.

Anyone defending Biden at this point is just a Trump hater who is going to defend Joe regardless of the results he has produced. Everything he touches is a disaster. He is willing to spend trillions on the so called Build Back Better plan that’s $4,9 trillion by the COB which according to Democrats is the “gold standard”. You can’t reason with any Biden supporter at this point.

To spend a trillion you have to spend a million dollars a million times. They throw out the term “trillion” like it’s nothing. They are going to spend $5 million dollars a million times with the National debt at $29 trillion.

The man can’t even keep track of who is President. Evidently he thinks it’s Kamala because he called her President about 3 times the other day in one speech.

I paid $2.56 for regular at Sam’s in Tyler yesterday.

Not sure when I paid $1.75 a gallon for gas.

I know we were paying around $1.80 for regular unleaded in the Tyler area in November of 2020.

I love how Democrats are trying to convince us all that their party's policies and rhetoric aren't costing us as much at the pump as we think. What does the fuel tax have to do with anything? It's just a diversionary tactic. Biden told all of us during the campaign that he was going to attack oil production and usage, and he started fulfilling his promise on day one.

Try that foolishness on the 3rd graders down at some Austin elementary school because the rest of us aren't falling for it.

From May of 2020:

Quote
For the week that ended Jan. 10, the average price of unleaded gas in Tyler was $1.83 a gallon, which was the same as last week.

Many stations in Tyler are selling gas below $1.80 and some as low as $1.71, according to the posting of gas prices at stations.

Just in case someone "can't remember" what we were paying before the Church of Global Warming took over the country.

That is low in Jan 2020 and got lower over the next few months until oil rebounded from its $-37 dollar low due to a world wide oil glut spurred by Covid and Russia and OPEC battling over oil production cuts.
You see, all the oil companies that went belly up last year happened because OPEC and Russia refused to keep cutting their oil as US oil production kept rising over the previous 3 years.

I think you were probably paying between $2 and $2.10 when Trump left office. Of course we all knew oil and gasoline prices were going to go up as we rebounded from Covid, no matter who was in office. It was also good for the oil business.
Some like you just have selective memory.
