That Derek spaghetti post got me thinking about some of the tasty meals we all enjoyed (or still enjoy) that are unusual, unique and down right budget friendly!
Mine is my famous "Chili Spaghetti". I will enlighten you all with how to make this wonderful meal. Its great for kids and adults as well as the dogs. Cats dont like it much. Here is the secret!
Boil two packets of noodles (no seasoning). Drain all the water. Return to pan. Add a can of your favorite chili and cook on low for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Top it with some fresh chopped onions and shredded cheese of your choice and its on! I like mine with Tabasco but your favorite hot sauce or no hot sauce will work just fine.
Two packets of noodles and a can of chili will make two very large helpings!
What are some of your family classics or new found struggle meals??

More of a left over meal than a struggle meal. We'll have hot dogs and my wife gets a tub of baked beans from the store. I'll add the hot dogs to the beans and have beanies 'n wienies for lunch.

Same here but I add a can of chunk pineapple, bbq sauce, and cayenne pepper. It's like a poor mans sweet and sour pork.

Other than beans, a baked potato can fill your gut for not much money.

Browned ground meat simmered in Campbell's Tomato soup then poured over a package of cooked noodles. Tasty meal for 4. She also did the same thing with cream of mushroom soup over noodles, or over potatoes, or over bread or biscuits for SOS.
