I ordered something on the Tuesday the 7th from a company headquartered in NJ. Got a shipping notice on the 8th saying it was being handled by DHL, which is always the worst, and that it was in Istanbul. Ok so that's how I had to pay no tax I guess, but now there should be customs fees - great. I figured I would have to pay to get it out of customs and then I might see it sometime around Valentine's Day. It showed up on the front porch on Sunday morning and sure enough it had come from Istanbul. Seems that they're all a crapshoot. This ^^^^ Had an order from Optics Planet in October, shipped with DHL, that took 24 days to get here and then they left it at the local post office which is 6.5 miles away. Plus DHL's tracking system is not updated well and generally sux ! FedEx and UPS are both good out here and and are regulars.

Very happy with the regular USPS guy here. I have had very few issues over the years. I can't say that about Fedex or UPS. Their people can't figure out the the difference in the W or E that is on a particular street address..

Well, Postmaster Dejoy did state and put in motion a plan to slowdown the mail and make it more expensive. Old Air Force boss that went to work for the post office after he got out, posted this on his facebook page the other day. Said that is pretty close to what their back area looks like on any given day lately.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Recently, I’ve ordered no less than 8 items that were shipped via USPS/UPS from origins like California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc., and got them all in less than 5 days.
It’s routine for me that once a shipment gets to a distribution center in Dallas, I get it within 24 hours. There are many advantages to living in the city, prompt package delivery is one of them.
Anybody who lives in the sticks and thinks they are going to get reliable and predictable shipping service is delusional

I like the UPS app where you can follow the truck that is delivering your package. Know when I have to open the property gate in a tighter window to keep from having to chase the deer out of the house area of the property.

I'm sure Rayzor will end up getting his package just fine, only been a couple days. USPS is not the best at scanning/updating tracking, but delivers. Doubt Rayzor updates saying he got it. As of today, I still don't have it. There is still no location information. I don't mind the late part as much as the not knowing where it is part. There is no excuse in this day and age for there not to be a constant location available from any parcel carrier. Yes, I hope this has nothing to do with the tornadoes.

Had a USPS package scanned in Jersey last week. Never scanned again. It was in my mailbox yesterday. I don't know. Happens a lot on items I ship and receive with USPS. Or never scanned then I'll get an email it's out for delivery. Like I said, I don't know. 99.9% of the time I get or ship my goods with no issues.

We have a long driveway, they used to drive packages up to the house, now if we are lucky they stack them on top on mail box, more times then not they actually throw them in the ditch. We have stuff go missing all the time. They also struggle reading the giant 250 on the box, we meet weekly it seems with 350 to swap mail. Then there was the time I got a message on next door that my mail was found in the middle of the street 3 miles away.

A year ago, on Amazon, I ordered a wading stick. Delivery was USPS. I got several updates on the shipping status. I don't recall now if I ever got one that stated Out for Delivery. The week after Christmas I had some messages with the sender and USPS. USPS told me that the package was lost in transit. Amazon helped in getting my payment refunded. I ordered a different wading stick through a different seller - that package arrived in about 7 days.
Fast forward to first week of April. I go to check the mail. On my way back into the house, I see a package at the front. At that point, I became the owner of TWO wading sticks! Lost in transit for almost 4 months, but it did eventually show up.
