bought a Jeep.
I've already figured a few things out.

#1 they have the aerodynamics of a milk cow.
#2 you will never hear jeep and high speed chase used together
#3 the Jeep "wave" is a plea for help
#4 radios and conversations are useless in a Jeep.

Looked at a Gladiator when they first came out. On the test drive I pulled out with cars coming at 50mph. Wife said floor it and I said it is. That ended that.

yep, badly underpowered (fuel economy. lol).

put a hemi with a beefed up frame that could tow and I would be all over one somehow, like the looks, drivetrain sucks bad.

I got on I-20 heading east between Terrell and Canton....my arse just about ate the entire front seat.

Fortunately it's just a secondary fun vehicle.

Knock them if you want, but by most accounts Jeep Wranglers hold their value better than any other vehicle:

I had a jeep wrangler C-J 5 Firecracker red with a wrangler denim rag top, bought it new in 1977, Drove it to Bosier city La. one night after a daylong drunk. (I drank a lot more in them days)

That trip broke me from wanting another jeep at least as a primary vehicle. But it would go almost anywhere in 4X4.

Loved my 2001 TJ, It had a 4inch suspension and 2 in body lift, long arm kit, OX locker, throttle switch on shifter. Was a thing of beauty, but yes drove like crapola on the road. And being only a 2-door not much space inside for hauling things.
