I throw every soft plastic that will fit on one.
A fluke with a 1/8th ounce shakey head IMO is one of the most over looked bait for schooling/suspended fish.
All time favorite to pair with a shakey head is a 6'' fat tail Roboworm in Morning Dawn though.

Seems both rigged on a 1/4 oz s.h.j. would have nice action.

GrandeBass Airtail Rattler or standard Rattlesnake work great on a shakeyhead: [Linked Image]

I’ve tried other plastics, but the zoom trick worm is all that is needed on a standup jig. Other baits work better on other presentations.

Pretty sure he plastic welded together a stud fry bait and a craw creature bait to create his own Frankenstein lure.

Lots of fun to do—Mend it works well as does a cheap soldering iron. The gel superglues are OK, but cure in a rigid manner that may affect the lure.

looks like a dream craw for me!!!

My "secret" craw gets demolished....but only lasts a fish, maybe w (GYCB craw of course 🤦‍♂️) and has that look! but the bumps are epic! i can imgine that helps move a little water around compared to my confidence craw. I love the ridges and things on soft plastics that can make bubbles. If its a frankenstein lure.....someone get to molding that thing for bulk production and ill take a couple hundred a couple or few times a year! LOL

I have caught countless big fish on Monti over the years with a Biffle Bug or Beaver on a small shaky head. The funny thing is I don't think I've throw that in 4-5 years.

Agreed. I use a zoom trick worm 99% of the time. Tried so many other options but the trick worm gets bit a lot more.
