It’s a natural gas one. Plano. Prices are outrageous. Any body know one. $1100 is the going price just for the install. Excludes the unit.

Why do you need to heat hot water ? Legit question
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

Do it yourself if it's just a change out. Soap the fittings. Good to go.

Ridiculous price for a change out that doesn’t include the water heater which is $600 to $1,000. You could do it in 2-3 hours. It’s not rocket science. Most work is getting the old unit down. The amount of sediment in it makes it heavy. Basic three things to know about plumbing: 1) [censored] runs down hill 2) Payday is Friday 3) Don’t bite your finger nails

You could do it in 2-3 hours. It’s not rocket science. I was quoted $1400 earlier this year for an electric water heater swap out on the ground floor in my garage. I called a few other places and everyone was over $1000. I bought a water heater and a couple of hours later I had it swapped out with no issues by doing it myself. Was under $500 total. Still working great, no leaks and no issues. First one I ever changed out myself. I knew nothing about it but tons of tutorials on YouTube helped.

Replaced one of mine 6 months ago. Got several bids, Team Enoch won by a couple hundred bucks and did a good job.

It takes a water hose to drain it and a wrench to install it. I would just do it myself.
