Greetings from Fort Worth Texas.
I am new to the Forum and just wanted to say hello. The name is John. I am 47 year old retired US Army Vet who loves fishing haha.. Guess that's why I am here right. I have been bank fishing since I was knee high to grasshopper and have never owned a boat. That will be some what changing this winter as I plan to move into a Fishing Kayak in time for the Crappie Run this Feb. I try to target Bass and Crappie more often than not but due to the bank fishing I am limited on what I can hunt down.
Just wanted to say hello to everyone and I look forward to reading and getting to know this community more.

 John to the Texas Fishing Forum and thank you for your service! Take time to read all of the fishing forums. Bass, crappie, Stripe Bass, Catfish, Carp, and the Bluegill Forums. There is also a kayak forum and many more that I did not name. The members here are FANTASTIC and you will learn a lot just reading their post. Looking forward to reading more of your post!

@IslandJim..... I will check it out sir. About to move on my first Kayak this week and wouldn't mind a few pointers on starting off with a good used craft.
