I am a long time catfish angler and I recently developed a severe allergy to catfish. I have allergy skin testing tomorrow. If you happen to have a sand bass filet (I am also looking for a crappie filet) that you are willing to donate to the cause please let me know. Frozen is fine but it is very important that you are certain of the species. I have a valid fishing license and I will not be exceeding the bag limit so this should be 100% legal. I actually attempted to catch both of these species this weekend but was unsuccessful. The hope that I am not allergic to one of these species and I can switch to a new type of fishing.

I live in the North Richland Hills area but I am willing to drive an hour or so to get these filets. I obviously can't pay for these filets but you will have my sincere gratitude and I will owe you a solid favor in the future. PM me if you have something.

Thanks for the offer. I had the testing and it looks like I am allergic to most finned fish. Which is funny because I have eaten fish my whole life with no trouble. Looks like it will be catch and release for me from now on.

As an allergy sufferer, I feel your pain! Don't have that one yet, but my doc said, "you are allergic to just about everything outdoors". Luckily not to the anaphylactic point, so I just stay miserable a lot!

I'm in the same boat, I've been taking shots for my allergies. The Mountain Cedar has been terrible!
