Wanting to catch sheepies in December. Looking at Port O Connor or Port Aransas. If you had to choose between which one would you pick and why?

Jetties at either should be about the same. We try to avoid catching them. They tear up hooks and the dorsal fin spines can stab you. Plus too much work to clean.

Thanks! Yep they are a challenge in a boat or kayak. We just freeze em in ice and scale em. Hard to beat on the table once you get past all the other stuff.
