Well, I went with Garmin 498 instead of Lowrance due to past issues, but now I have problems with the Garmin. I think this bad luck is following me around to each brand.
Anyway, I cannot get my sonar to work. Starting about the second time out, the depth would blink and not register. I would fix this by turning it off/on.
Since that time, every time out it has gotten worse and now the off/on thing will not help. It is new, and I have only fished with it 6 times. Yesterday it only worked for a total of maybe 10 minutes on a 7 hour fishing trip.
I assume this is the transducer...it is mounted correctly so it must be an internal issue. Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: Apology - I just noticed I posted this in Rods/Reels. Hopefully you guys peruse all areas. Thanks again.

DON'T GET CONFUSED BETWEEN MY PERSONALITY AND MY ATTITUDE. MY PERSONALITY IS WHO I AM...MY ATTITUDE DEPENDS ON WHO YOU ARE
