New to the forum.

Anyone have any tips on running the far north east corner of Ray Roberts? Read on here it gets pretty dicey. I have been putting in at buck creek and staying close to the 377 bridge and the railroad bridge. Fished about 7 hours there the other day and never cranked up the big motor. Wanting to get out towards the main lake from the buck creek arm. I appreciate any tips or recommendations.

Running South from Buck isn't bad you just need to know the lane. It may take you a time or two to follow someone.

Once outside of the bridges idle South and stay towards the left in a clear lane, you'll see a row of telephone poles soon heading South, stay to the left and hug them on plane, then you can hit a few creeks on the left. If you go more South stay towards the left / middle where you see clearing, once past Wolf Island it's open to the South towards the dam. Pretty much all creeks are idle only once you get into them.

PS: ANY TIME YOU SEE TELEPHONE POLES IDLE ONLY

You should also launch from Jordan Moore if you get a chance. It's a lot clearer and leads you to mid/lake without any major dangers.

There was only one path that started at the RR bridge and headed towards the main lake, unfortunately the trees that lined it are nearly gone. Until the lake drops and shows the stumps I would recommend idling out to the flooded RR bed which is open to run towards the south. At the mouth of Pierce Creek you veer out the main lake,
But there are no boat lanes.
The flooded RR lane heading north is not really visible but it was fairly open towards the mouth of Clark’s Creek.
You might see if one of the guides would allow you map their routes around the lake.
