Adam and I managed to get in seven trips between last Saturday and Wednesday and then took a couple of days off for the Thanksgiving Holidays. Richland Chambers didn't disappoint! While I had one trip devoted solely to Catfishing and a couple where we did a little bit of fishing for both Whites and Catfish, the majority of time we were looking for the Whites. The Whites (and LOTS of small Hybrids) are scattered all over the Main Lake on Points and Humps in water ranging from 15' to 40' FOW. The larger Schools of larger fish normally were found in the deepest water, suspended, and were the biggest fish. You had to really work to get them to bite on some trips and on others you had an easier time. As the five day period we fished ended, the fish were harder to find and the bite was slower. We did have a couple of Fronts with high pressure and winds that probably didn't help so it will be interesting to see if the bite is still on tomorrow (Saturday) when I next fish. It's helpful when Adam and I are both on the Lake as we can separate, cover more water and cut the time to find fish. He will be no help tomorrow as he's camping/hunting for a change. We caught all our fish on RSR Slabs with a Jig Teaser with many more fish coming on the Jig. As we finish up November, our calendar really opens up as we have lots of Weekdays open and even a couple of Saturdays with a boat available. Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz and give us a call!
