I am on windows 10 and suddenly just in the last week or so I can't open a you tube video unless I am on the you tube site. Another issue that came about is photo editing. I can import a photo edit and crop it but it won't save the changes when I move it to the desk top it shows the original. I am not doing anything different and have not changed any settings to my knowledge. Both problems just appeared out of nowhere. The computer is up to date and I am thinking I may jump to windows 11 to correct the problem....? any input is appreciated

MUCH more detail is needed.

Do you have an example of a YT vid you can't watch? Link? What browser are you using? Do you have any plugins, adblockers, etc. installed? What is it doing - is it just doing nothing? Are you getting an error message? What's the message?

What program are you using for photo editing? There are so many available, without even knowing the program there's no way anyone can offer any advice.

Sounds like a file association issue.

An example of yt would be any on the latest OT music thread and on other places. I am getting an error message trying to open the yt links..
For photo editing I am using whatever was included on the computer when purchased I will have to look. No adblockers plugins etc

Whats the error say when opening the vid or does it just say error opening video?

Switch to Chrome browser. Or press alt-tab or right-click refresh on your monitor. I’m thinking Chrome has a higher chance of success.

Every time my computer acts up, I threaten to take it to the gun range. That usually fixes any issue that is hardware related.

Lenova has some smoking deals right now, Everytime I send my laptop off to get fixed it comes back with another issue and I am out a couple hundred bucks.

I just buy a new one when my acts up.

Thank you for the offer. The editing photo editing issue is gone. I had 3 updates the last 2 days that changed something I am guessing. I still have you tube issue but not a priority at the moment
