Hey all!
Thinking of heading out to Eisenhower state park this weekend if weather and time permit. I got on a couple of stripers last time at possum kingdom, and boy were they fun to catch (and eat). TPWD website says 1-10 feet is where the stripers are at the moment, but thought id take some word from yall as well. WIll be fishing out of a kayak w/o electronics ( gonna get some if I snag a good black Friday deal, but for the time being I don't have any) Appreciate any input from where to fish to what lures to use.

thanks, Danial.

I talked to a guide two weeks ago out there and he was having lucks on the islands with slabs. He did mention there were some larger fish shallower but he was fishing in 35 feet.

Without electronics its tough to find and stay with stripers. You can look for birds but that bite is starting to diminish.

Do you have a pedal yak? If so I would try to find fish by trolling a deep diving crank and if you hook one slab that area and see. Good luck! Let us know how you do!
