I live west of Denton, and normally fish Lewisville or Ray Roberts.

I'm curious if any of you have relevant experience on Bridgeport? it's a pretty reasonable drive for me, but I've never been on the water there.

specifically..... how easy is it to catch shad? any other wisdom would be well received too. smile

Shad are easy but itโ€™s a small fish lake and I recommend staying on Raybob, Lewisville, or Arrowhead this time of year so you at least have a chance at some Toads.

There is a fine line between fishing and floating around like an idiot!!

thanks Gato. I don't fish the winter. too busy hunting.

I really just catfish between March and May. I catch enough in that window to stock me up for the year.
