Pecan Pie

My wife made two buttermilk pies last night, I'm afraid that they wont make it until Thanksgiving. :

These days, I enjoy making whatever the kiddos like, and they like s’mores pie.
Stupid easy to make.

Two days before make graham cracker crust shell— very easy and much better than store bought.
Then day before, make the pie filling and set overnight in fridge.

I think you have to be a kid to get the full enjoyment out of that. Instant sugar high. One bite would be too much for me.

Yes, after they eat, send the kiddos outside for three hours to burn off the sugar.

Anything but pumpkin pie. That's for yankees

All Pies Matter

I'm an equal opportunity dessert enjoyer...that being said. I actually like to have a large bowl of Breyers Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

My wife makes a good, lemon meringue pie. Love that toasted calf slobber on top of it.
As for the pumpkin pies, I love a good one with real whipped cream on top.

Pineapple chess with shredded coconut on top. Also coconut cream. Sister in law loves to bake. Also homemade bread. We had Thanksgiving Sunday because of schedules! I was stuffed.
