I spoke to someone there years ago to suggest a color pattern. They told me that don't accept people's suggestions. True story.
I can not speak on behalf of Bill Lewis especially on something that happened to you in the past, but I seriously doubt the President/CEO of that company would have specifically spoken about it when I was interviewing him if it was not an option. He was the one that even brought it up.
Like I said, it was several years back and competition has increased. All I can say is I called, spoke to a female, told her what I wanted to suggest and she said "we don't take suggestions." It was very puzzling.
It seems like Bill Lewis is now trying to pick up some of the market they have lost over the years. Maybe give it another shot and and ask them to make you a dozen baits in the color you want. Then come back on here and tell us what they said.
I remember years back a bunch of us got together on another site and had Pop-R make a special size bait they don't make anymore. We had to order 1000 before they would make them though.
