Broke a NRX back in May due to my own stupidity. Filed for a replacement when it happened and finally got it. Only took 6 months. At first they said July, then late August or early September. Then changed to no estimated replacement date. Granted when I broke it the NRX+ just hit the market and I'm sure all production went to vendors but 6 months is a bit much. Hopefully I won't break anymore. Looking forward to trying it this weekend.

Agreed 6 months is a long time to wait and I would not be happy either. My guess is that the components for the rods sat offshore on a cargo ship for 4 1/2 of those six months.

First time I contacted them they said it was due to supplier issues with the cork. Second time there was no reason other then supply issues and high demand.

Bummer- that sucks.

I know G. Loomis makes their own blanks in Washington but they use Fuji guides that are made in (guess where)........

That sucks. Last year I broke a slx rod and sent it to shimano the day after Christmas. I didn't get it until June.

According to 60Minutes last night, the parts have probably been sitting in a container on the shores of California for six months….waiting on a truck driver with all the needed documents (vaccines, proof of vaccines, Covid test results, etc). to pick up the container. It ain’t chinas fault anymore. It’s California’s idiots that are slowing down the recovery.

I broke a conquest this year. Used the expeditor program and had my replacement in less than 2 weeks. Mileage varies by the rod and whether they have it in stock or not I guess.

My replacement under warranty also took about six months. Thought I was the only one.
