A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

well done sir !!!! Possibly helped her in ways we couldn't begin to imagine .
One time there was a homeless woman , with a young son ( 4 or 5 ) , she was pregnant . They came into the restaurant my wife and I were eating breakfast . The manager told her they couldn't eat inside but that he would give them a take out meal for both of them . She sat outside , both ate their meal like they were starving then walked away . When we were leaving , I didn't see them around the parking lot . When I got home , I had that " feeling " in my gut --- telling me to do something . I had a huge jar full of coins , be putting away for years --- probably a couple hundred dollars easy . I took the jar , jumped in the truck and went back to the parking lot , finally found them in a far off corner , the mom was crying , the little boy looked lost . I get out of the truck , walk over to them both and give them the jar full of coins . Told them they could cash them at the bank and hoped it would help . I almost NEVER give money to homeless , especially if it's an able bodied man . But the look on their faces when I gave them the jar --- almost crushed me . That was 10 year ago and I still think of it often .

That is awesome to recognize someone in the industry that typically does not get recognized. I tipped the girl at Rosa's that worked in the kitchen and was getting orders out. She greeted every single person that came to pick up their food, helped an elderly person get their food to their table, was training staff all the while smiling and sweating her butt off. I walked up, shook her hand (with a $20) and thanked her for just being awesome.

That’s awesome. I think some folks can use a lift every once in a while. Back when I was young, trying to get started in life, I got a boost from my mom. I was way too proud to ask for a penny, but she knew I was struggling just to stay afloat. She just handed me a check and said spend it.

This person you tipped, probably thinks of you as an angel.
