Anybody got a 3D printer they have used to print lures...e.g. rattle traps, baby manns, spooks etc.??? If you have what printer did you get and what software are you using.

I have two printers and have printed prototype glides on both. First is a Sindoh 3DWox1 FDM and second is an Anycubic Photon resin DLP printer. I did my modeling in NX. It's a fun hobby, but very time consuming. I had to take a hiatus because my kids started getting into Tee ball, football, cheer, basketball, etc...

If I were serious about it, I would look at the Anycubic Mono, and I would look at some sculpting software as opposed to traditional CAD. With the Mono, you can either print molds, or you can print the actual bait. One is good for prototyping, one is good for higher volume production.

I have thought about buying a 3D printer and making molds. That's as far as I got. smile
