Anyone have a recommendation for a good place to launch on Texoma? I'm going for the first time. I'm coming from Flower Mound.

Thanks.

The ramp at the dam is a pretty good place to start.

I have spent the past 50 years spitting in their mouths...increasing the size of Texas fish with every spit!

I’d go with Highport Marina. $10. Seems to be a safer place to leave a truck.

In these temps? But I know what your saying. Was sitting on a party barge for a wedding waiting to launch. Boat came by with 4 guys and 2 girls. One looked right at us and showed us them jugs.

State park $5 use the left ramp, The dam has no dock and some converters have been stolen there, if your smallmouth fishing use state park if your striper fishing use highport.

2nd the State Park. Any North wind at all will make the ramp at the dam tricky.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

I've used flowing wells, highpoint, grandpappy point and the dam ramp and they are all fine but just by the looks of it the dam ramp seems like a place to get your truck broke into, it would be a quick crash and grab right by the highway.

hate what they did to the HighPort launch, fenced it in and put up an electric bandit... had the dang thing not accept a credit card - that I used just up the road for gas, and had a line behind me, no way to get out of the way without everyone backing wayyyy up...had to wait for the attendant girl to come down and open the arm - I did get in free, but was a hassle... seems to be the thing these day's, went to Lake Lavon East Fork Park launch, get to the window with my $5 in hand and was told they were no longer accepting cash due to wu-hon flu, so I said "so you can't take my cash cause you might be touching covid, but you can touch my credit card that might have covid on it...", the worlds gone nuts...

They’re trying to get rid of tournaments going out of there and the people that don’t pay.
