Thinking about using lithium batteries for all my electronic has anyone had any problems with them?

Lol, you’ve asked more questions about lithium than we’ve had fishing questions on here. Only problem I’ve had with mine, is it’s too small.

I have them, they are awesome.

Just make sure you have marine lithium batteries with a quality incorporated (BMS) battery management system in a sealed nylon case and an appropriate lithium charger.

If you have concerns; start with a lithium charger and a 60aH lithium to run graphs only. It’s nice to have a dedicated battery and wiring just for the graphs to minimize potential interference.

Then as you become more comfortable with LiFeP04; a lithium charger for lithiums for the trolling motor.

Honestly; unless you are really trying to cut as much weight as possible to maximize fuel efficiency and gain a few mph; I’d just run an AGM or a quality lead acid for the cranking motor until the motors all come with lithium friendly alternator systems.

I had to send 2 back.had a few winter fishing problems but I bet they got it sorted out by now.

I’ve been using a smaller lithium battery to run a 5inch graph for almost a decade.

I have all Ionic Lithiums. I use three 50 AH (54 AH Rated) for the TM. So far I have not been able to kill them after two years. The lowest they have been after a hard day of fishing is 60%. I usually have about 80% left.
I use two 125 AH start batteries. I didn't normally need two but there were some days when four graphs, pumps, and all of the other loads were taking it down to where I couldn't get two days out of a single battery.
Plus for the start batteries I just wanted the extra insurance.
So far they have been trouble free. I use the Minn Kota charger that came with my boat configured for the AGM setting. I like that they charge so fast. After a tournament day I can hook them up and by the time we get back from dinner they are just about done. I don't need to leave the extension cord plugged in all night.

I'd check Impulse Lithium, 10yr warranty that is not prorated, other companies prorate after a certain time period. All on sale on the site and they do sell the LiFeP04 chemistry which is much more stable. They have awesome customer service too! www.impulselithium.com
