Mine go in the compost, covered in used coffee grounds. Great garden fertilizer.

I knew a guy that used to take his fish carcasses and string them up on a tree where he fished for crappie. the flies would come and lay eggs then a few days later he would have a baited hole with lots of maggots falling off into the water.
