How much would you give a sibling for a wedding present? First marriage, they are both 26. Been together since they were 16.

I was thinking $200 and then one of our buddies at work gave him $500 and he's not even family. Messed it up for the rest of us LOL

If they've live together for a few years they should pretty much have everything they need... Maybe $100... If they're getting married without having lived together $300 - $400 so they can get a house/ apartment furnished... Dan

Give them $1,000 with the understanding that if it doesn’t work out each owes you $500. Make them think when they have their first real argument.

I gave my sister $250 back in 1998 when she got married...Spent $125 on stuff for a close friend recently when he got married...gave my niece $100 when she got married last October...So, I don't know, really just depends on how much you like them, I guess. I love my niece, but she's a bit difficult to actually like and get along with...way too spoiled.

Tell them you're a little short right now...you'll catch them on the next one.

The only weddings that I will ever attend the rest of my days are the weddings of my children. And I won’t be able to afford any gifts after paying for them
