Tell me if I’m crazy, but some of the worst chili I’ve had was some I had at a couple of competitions. Some of the best has been at fishing or camping trips. Competition chili just seemed like a whole different animal and it just didn’t suit me. Yep kinda like competition BBQ

Competition chili just seemed like a whole different animal and it just didn’t suit me. I think I agree with ya'. Competition chili eats well in spoon-sized portions. It can be a bit much to sit around and eat a couple bowls of it.
