Thanks guys I got a 2-pack of double bulb 3800 lumens lights at lowes for around $29. I put one up yesterday down the centerline gives off great light but will reconfigure today and add 2 more over the work bench.

Costco has a two pack, adjustable direction, 3 LED light bulb that screws into socket for $39pkg. 8000 Lumens. It is perfect lighting and then some for a 3-car garage, IMO.

If you want cheap, Walmart usually has 4’ LED shop lights for their Black Friday sale. Pretty good lights, even better for the price, think they were $12 last year.

I just paid $15 for one; very impressed. Going to pick up a few more.

Why do you need light in an empty garage? grin

I watched them do it all so I feel pretty confident that I can replicate the process on the 1600sqft of floor on our metal building in AR.

Thanks,

I know the comment is made that you can do your best work when it's dark, so the light will only be used when entering and leaving the 8 cubicles that will be built inside. Ladies of the night like it dark, but still need to see how much money is in their client's wallet. Putting waterbeds, strobe black lights, melting candle fixtures, and packs of viagra in each cubicle for all to enjoy....finally gonna get to be an entrepreneur. Hopefully, you are able to come over and video or take still shots for the humpday threads.

Reconfigured the shop this morning 2 lights equally spaced at the front running the lengthwise and 2 lights 18" off the back wall across the width. Four 4' double bulb 3800 lumens each filled the whole place with the perfect amount of light.
