Whichever one is the one choosing to schedule over the other, is the one that deserves to go broke. It’s a limited viewership small market, stupid to intentionally cut your numbers in half. Who's schedule came out first? I have no clue. One is run by a millionaire the other takes direction from a couple billionaires, not hard to cipher who has the money to burn to run the other out of business.

The bass opens are a joke for payout and the fishing usually sucks as there is no off limits and the fish get beat on for 10 days before the first day of competition.
The Opens sign up system is also a joke and no real way to allow new fresh anglers to get in. Keep letting previously registered anglers take priority for those limited spots, even though they haven’t been competitive for years, but have the cash and the time. Like some legacy priority BS, this ain’t a fraternity. Might take a 2yr average and bump the bottom 20% for 2 years to open the door to fresh talent. If they don’t fill up, then call on that 20%, but I don’t think that will ever happen. There are too many interested and too few spots, and the field can stay at +/-150 competitive anglers.
Hell, I'm still waiting on last day of the bass elite tournament to air from this summer. They had on fox and fox sports two days and never showed the ending. Who does that. Maybe next time instead of the first two days just show the last day, you know...the one where we get to see the results. I’m not even sure anybody knows who won that tourney, did the winner get paid yet or does he have to wait for it to air. Anyone know if that is going to be on in 2022 so I can find out who wins, I can’t sleep without knowing.
I like to watch live fishing for both, but both have issues with how the little guy moves up out of Tripple A.

A simple answer from me, I like BASS better. I still like the 5 biggest bass weigh in over the most fish caught. To me it’s just two ways of fishing, both can suit your own style.

Upshaw has some great content and I enjoy his channel, but his voice is grinding to my ears.

If they schedule on top of BASS and split the viewers they figure they can survive longer than BASS. Just my opinion of course

Interesting watch and I would have to agree scheduling on top of one another is hurting both in their bid to beat the other! WHY WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??

The only way to get both BASS & MLF on the same page is to get them……on the same page, as in consolidated as one league. That’s the plan I believe. One league; to me, and that makes the most sense. There’s only maybe 100 truly high level tournament anglers anyway. It’s the only way to drive the sponsorship dollars into one organization to achieve no entry fees etc. I think each is waiting on the other to cry “uncle”. Who will blink first?

One thing that gets me about MLF is how it’s basically team Berkely/Abu vs team Strike King/ Lews. To me it’s just boring seeing the same old baits and lures except for Bryan Thrift throwing Damiki and Wheeler/DC throwing Googan. But maybe that was the long con. Level the playing field with the same advantage being same gear and baits. I just like the variety BASS Elites present as far as sponsors. Granted I’m not naive in knowing that pros absolutely do not exclusively throw sponsor baits
