Good guys have the edge over the bad, but they all still show up....and anyone can win in reality, as unlikely as it is. Poker tourneys advertise the payout percent usually.....crazy to hear of money flow problems when the competitors are paying for things. If it was like golf and running of sponsor money only Id understand....but I dunno. Stuff seems like theres money going places that doesnt seem to benefit the anglers much

Wholly smoke the 13 year old girls have really shown up to give their 2 cents on something that doesn’t effect them. NPFL is a new business, they will be just fine ladies calm down.

But what about Derek Mundy dominating early in the year and if I remember right he’s a ham n egger 9 to 5er pipeline welder. One was a BFL and one was a Toyota series event. What’s the BASS equivalent of a BFL? BASS Nation events? Are they any better than Opens? I understand there are different qualifications involved but are BFLs/ BASS Nation events worth fishing?

So we still don’t have the name of the FB angler that the OP claims to have read this from... Maybe it’s that spoof guy that has all the inside knowledge, can’t remember his name I think you are talking about that guy 2Usedfish. He seems to think he has his thumb on the pulse of all thing bass derby related and hot sports opinions supported by few. I bet he knows.

Unless you paid to fish the trail and have invested in competing in a championship not sure what the complaints or concerns are about.

To be clear - your and Douglas J's position is that people shouldn't be concerned with or comment on things that don't immediately affect them. Only self-centered complaints. Got it

So it appears that the anglers are either content with the situation or are all planning a secret meeting while gathering their pitchforks and bats, since nobody is talking.
My guess and it’s only a guess, is that they couldn’t find a big name sponsor for their championship and are trying to buy time to get one. The whole situation does seem odd though.

They took in around $3,100,000 entry fees and paid out around $2,568,000, leaving about $532,000 is someone's pocket.
