If money is not an issues what transducer pole would you recommend for the Garmin Live Scope transducer. I am wanting to get a few of those poles. I'm sure the crappie community here had done all the test trials on them poles. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

They all have pluses and minuses. I you fish timber , get one that breaks away . It appears , traveling across the water via big motor and storage of said pole is a big factor.

If I went to a pole it would be the Poleducer from Shut up and fish! I tried several of them and that was the best IMO.

I recently purchased my 3rd PoleDucer from David at Shut-Up-and-Fish. I purchased the 1st unit a couple of years ago, installing it on a G3. I picked up a new boat early this year and built a standalone Livescope set up to fish for crappie fishing. I recently took delivery of a Mega Live, so I purchased a 3rd unit for a permanent install. One of my fishing partners inadvertently stepped on one of the Poleducers when he lost his balance. I needed a replacement pole and David is taking care of shipping me the replacement at no cost. David provides great service, as well as outstanding customer support! I really appreciate him taking the extra effort to keep customers happy. Thanks again David for all that you have done to help me out! https://shut-up-and-fish.com/search.php?search_query_adv=poleducer§ion=product ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/11/full-46975-116816-untitled.jpg) Review our four options of our Poleducer. Let me know if you have any questions. I would be happy to visit with you live. My contact is below in my signature file. The Poleducer is the only system with a 360 break-a-way. Not just two-way. The simplicity of raising and lowering all day as you move from stop to stop is just that..."simple" We have added new components from what you will see in the videos as we continue to give you a quality, user-friendly system to pan-the-optics. The Poleducer works with all three Live Sonar Transducers on the Market today... The Poleducer was also featured in the July 2021 edition of The In-Fisherman Magazine. This is an item we created and manufacture here at shut-up-and-fish LLC and we stand behind it 100%. It is not someone else product. "The Poleducer"

Depends if you want a separate pole mount or want the pole mounted on the TM. That's a personal preference. How you fish and with how many people can impact how you mount the transducer.
If you're not really good at boat control, mounting on the TM shaft can be problematic. And you need to approach from direct down wind. Also need to be in the very front of the boat to reach where the transducer is pointing. Separate pole lets you adjust the transducer to the fish when the TM has to be moved to keep the boat in place and you can position the fish to the side of the boat if another person can't be in the exact front of the boat. I like the mount from AllAboardMarine.com Separate pole mounted direct to the Ultrex. Twist handle to turn transducer. Simplicity for me and fits my style of fishing. But that's just me. If I didn't have this mount, I'd have the transducer mounted to the TM shaft. No separate pole to take in and out.

I have the Fishing Specialties. It’s ok, but I have my eye on the new Beatdown Outdoors pole. This thing looks bulletproof. I have one of their telescoping display mounts and it’s a high-quality and heavy-duty unit. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I have a Poleducer and love it, couple buddies have seelite and like it. In my opinion, there is not a single “perfect” pole out there due to many factors. Every boat is different and will have pros/cons of mounting location: drill through fiberglass, mount on carpet ,cable management, height and length to get over gunwale to position you want in relation to how you want to fish the livescope. It really all depends on how you want your bow set up to fish and then you choose your mount from there. So first picture how you want your fishing set up to be then decide which one best suits you. At least that’s my 2 cents
