Good afternoon. I'm gonna do Mcqueeney this weekend I think as long as weather is good. Based on all of your advice I'm gonna use that boat ramp off of FM725. Launching a kayak so I'm not real concerned with condition.

How is parking arranged there? I see posts about getting ticketed or towed. Last thing I need at the end of the day is to find my vehicle missing and being stranded with a kayak. Google Earth/Maps is no help as I see people parked any which way.

Usually there are no more than 2 vehicles with trailers there during the weekdays. Make sure you leave room for the other parked vehicles. I have never heard anyone being towed from there but there is always a first time. I would head west towards the Bandit Golf Course. Fish that end of the river. There is a creek that feeds into the river by the dam there. Great fishing especially if the dam is generating.
