Hit every unlocked vehicle on our street last night. Didn't take guns, tools or high dollar sun glasses that were in 3 different vehicles. confused Guess they were just looking for drugs and /or money. Checked my gas tank and catalytic converter, all ok.

Now go beat that individual about the head and neck for leaving a gun in an unlock vehicle... The height of irresponsibility... Dan

Every other day, my RING neighborhood on my RING doorbell app shows me yet another incident of young thuggers looking around in peoples cars in their driveways. So much so that folks are quite humdrum about the incidents."Oh, yeah, they looked through mine last week", etc. The thuggers know this now and have become emboldened by the lack of getting a beatdown for doing this. Libs think this is perfectly fine since you left your car doors unlocked so it is expected that thuggers can look through if they like. Some idiots even think, "Well, I'll just leave my doors open so the thuggers don't break anything." How complacent the liberal prosecutors have become as well. What is the next law that we will tolerate being broken and not punished?

Rummage through your backyard, maybe.

Yep, probably. Or your house as well. "Well, they didn't take too much..............". Truly a mental disorder with the left.

You shouldn’t have to worry about locking your car with a gun in it. The true height of irresponsibility is not with the gun owner, but with people who somehow think it’s the gun owner’s fault. NEWSFLASH, it’s the prospective thief’s fault!

You “shouldn’t” have to worry about criminals at all but it is the world we live in. Leaving a gun in a vehicle overnight is completely irresponsible even moreso if the vehicle is unlocked and no decent alarm. Many crimes are committed with stolen guns and many stoles guns are from vehicles.

So you leave you firearm on the kitchen table with people around??? Why would you treat it any differently than when it's in your car knowing thieves are in the neighborhood???... Sure it the thief's fault but are you gonna any better when you find out it was used in a robbery to kill your neighbor or the guy working late at the Quickie Mart???... It's your responsibility to secure your gun at all times... Period... Dan

That seems to be the pattern these days they just look for unlocked vehicles. I have a good Clifford alarm on my truck I hit the button every night before heading to bed. It is mind boggling so many folks leave their vehicles unlocked.

That has to be one of the dumbest posts I've ever read here.

The world we live in is not the world we should be living in. If we were get back to being tough on crime and criminals, you would be able to leave a gun in a car, unlocked. The gun owner IS NOT at fault, it’s the criminal’s fault and the height of irresponsibility is with those who mollycoddle criminals. I live in the country and the thief that attempts to steal ANY property from me, will pay dearly.
