Do you or anyone else remember the keg races that Miller brewery held each summer? That was my first thought when I read the post....  ...left there a time or two with a good buzz. I guess they did away with those?

Yep.. had some good times at The Miller hose off. Things in the fire service just arnt the same anymore. Use to spend all day on grass fires or a working structure fire and when we got back to the station the assistant chief would pass the hat around and go make a beer run while we put the trucks back in service. Seems like it all changed when brush trucks went from jacked up 4x4s with big mudders and gas engines to diesel trucks.
