The black crappie was 17โ€ long and weighed 2 ounces short of 3 pounds. And I caught it without a reel. roflmao

Congrats Barry. That explains the ad I saw from TWPD hiring six new fishing record verification agents. (No record is safe if you haven't been fishing seriously yet!)

Ok, that made me laugh. I have achieved my TPWD record goals, so I will be trying to complete my world record goals now. But in the process, I have been picking up a few more state records. I do plan to fish more than I have been able to with work, so my guess is that there will be a few more records in my future. popcorn

I retired several years ago but still find my self checking in on the company. Hard to quit after 50+ years.

I have been working on a fishing goal, so I havenโ€™t had much time to think about retirement. I have fished over 30 days in a row, but I did that sometimes before retirement. roflmao

It is nice not having to think about work.
