It’s a friends of mine. Evidently cord wasn’t routed properly and got pinched in tm mount. He bought a used one so this is just a science project for now.

Psssstt. I’ve fixed way worse hundreds of times. Take your time and solder and shrink EVERY wire. Pay attention to the shielding and what layers are in what shielding. It’ll be fine.

Psssstt. I’ve fixed way worse hundreds of times. Take your time and solder and shrink EVERY wire. Pay attention to the shielding and what layers are in what shielding. It’ll be fine. I've done a few in the past but this one is crazy. 21 wires in it, a few pairs seem to be around 32 awg.

Just need to work on the shielding when i get around to it.

Keep us posted, I would love to know how well it works after you repair it.
I want to cut mine and put a coupler in at the Tm head so I can quickly remove it but have been a chicken to do so.
I have the water proof 21 pin connector just not the nerve to try it
