You can put boats in but of course there is no ramp so its a long drag.
They only allow paddle crafts and/or electric motors. No gas engines.

To the best of my knowledge there is no restrictions on motors for Southlake. Used to see bass boats there all the time before it got well known. Things change though and perhaps the sign has been updated since I was there last.

Hubbard City Lakes, especially the one right off of 31 on the south side
Upper and Lower Palestine City Lakes (if fishing around a gator or two doesn't freak you out)

They have gotten very low at different times over the years, but they look amazing these days. Fishing is still very good.

Bob Sandlin (Stay in the coves around the county park).

Nice bass and crappie in all of them.

I forgot to mention Like Oak park. I've never gone to that one since they don't allow inflatable kayaks only hardshells.
