There aren't many fishing days when there is no wind until noon time. Fishing improved some since last week and it looks like the lake has finished turning over so from here on out we should be dealing with true fall fishing. That is until winter blows in. This was LFA 21 of 22. New year starts in December. November is primarlily made up of the MLF format semi and final championships.
All fish 10" and up are keepers. Only the best 5 count.
Boaters
First Place went to Don Overstreet of Sulphur Springs with 5 bass for 16.30 LB with a 5.08 LB lunker.
Second Place went Randy Bunch of Lake Fork to with 5 bass for 15.56 LB with the boater lunker of 7.95 LB.
Third Place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 5 bass for 9.38 LB. .with a 3.02 LB Lunker
Fourth Place went to Tim Gold of Mineola of 5 bass for 8.27 LB. with a 2.61 LB lunker
Fifth Place went to Richard Morris of Houston with 7 bass for 8.08 LB with a 3.16 LB lunker
Co-Anglers
First Place went to Rick Wright of Rowlett with 4 bass for 6.41 LB .with a 3.31 LB lunker.
Second Place went to Tom Whitrock of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 5.80 LB with the co-angler lunker of 3.64 LB.
Third Place went to Alf Tuggle of Cypress Springs with 4 bass for 4.28 LB. with a lunker of 1.21 LB.
Fourth Place went to Bob Lambert of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 4.20 LB. with a lunker of 1.67 LB
Fifth Place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 2 bass for 3.94 LB with a 3.46 LB lunker.
We caught 76 keepers today with four anglers skunking. .Less but bigger fish than last time.
The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 56+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues. Even though we are practicing social distancing and wearing masks, we have about 10 sitting out from Covid exposure (down from 20),
