How do you handle it when they list "cannabis trimmer" as a previous job?
No particular reason for asking. This gem was shared with me by a non-TFFer.

It's just landscaping experience. Actually had a guy (during the background process) tell me he rubbed one out in the parking lot before work.......

There’s a legal grow facilty within rock throwing distance from our property line at work. It smells like Las Vegas all day, everyday. Every time I drive by their employees they’re very friendly, waving and always smiling. It must be a great place to work.

No particular reason for asking. This gem was shared with me by a non-TFFer. Guess I have higher expectations. Pass.

I had a guy that worked at a Tex-Mex restaurant list his qualifications as “experienced burrito roller”. Actually on his resume.

I would pass. There are some things you need to leave off a job application or resume.if you aren’t smart enough to figure those out then there is likely a lot you won’t figure out. If the company is growing legal marijuana then just put the company name and title of technician.

Was he working in a state or country where it was legal? Was the experience pertinent to the job for which they were applying? I probably wouldn't care to be honest. As long as they were able to show up to work sober and did the job they were hired for, then great. I know a lot of people who don't do drugs that are lazy and incompetent, but they somehow manage to stay on the payroll.

Considering all the lazy entitled people who refuse to work. It seems incredibly petty to ignore an applicant strictly because he worked in the evil cannabis industry.
