Looking like Amistad & Falcon might get some rain in the next day or two!

Hope so. It was so sad when I was there a couple of months ago.

Hopefully they do!! Amistad is only 51% full and Falcon is an astounding just 20% full. Choke Canyon and Medina could use some water as well.

I guess because the front they don’t really have this predicted to be much of a rain maker south.

It’s supposed to move through very quickly. I had hopes that Choke might catch a few ft, but that hope is dwindling by the minute. If we can get a few FEET of rain in Uvalde to Hondo, just maybe.

Just looked at the radar for Zapata. Unfortunately for Falcon, at least for now, it's a little west and north of it. Laredo looks like it's gonna get plenty and Amistad looks like it's on track for some. Don't know a lot about the watershed for Falcon, but it ain't looking great right now.

Most of the rain will be in the hill country up to DFW area. Maybe Ivie catches some but since the storm never got over a cat 1, they greatly reduced our rain chances of 7+" down to isolated 2-4" north of Austin. Id be shocked if the Rio grande got much as most of the moisture will be pulled from the gulf once it crosses the mountains

NOAA 3 day prediction. Pockets of 5"+
