John and his wife caught 45 fish and 25 overs on a whopper plopper today! I consider that to be epic!

Fishing is still off the charts! Ed from Ed’s Guide Service, Brad from Circle B Guide Service and Josh from Southern Wind Guide Service are all catching limits thumping and slabbing or thumping with bait! Additionally Brad is starting the jug line/ striper combo trips and catching some nice cats in addition to striper limits!

Those are some giant stripers. I plan to book a trip next year. I gotta experience that for myself. Great posts and congrats on the recent success.

The birds are back! This is always a fun time to throw topwater, live bait or slab with a thumper or one of the most productive techniques is trolling! Ed sent these over today! We shot this video last year but it is still one of my favorites!

The fish are really looking healthy this year with plenty of bait in the water. Deadsticking this winter can break some arms!

I took two friends and their sons out Sunday for a father son trip, we saw a few birds working and spotlocked under them. They quickly moved on and dispersed so we decided to turn on the thumper and see what would happen. We had fish drifting under us for a couple of hours, they were never really sticky but they were hungry and we had fish biting frequently. We ended up having to stop and catch bait and came back ans. Set up near the first spot and picked up where we left off. We ended up with 40 fish and the kids had a blast! I really like using the thumper with kids because we didn’t have to look for fish either time, we were able to get plenty of fish without running all over the lake!
