So I am in a skeeter this year. Last year I had a fish and ski with large front windshield. So far as I can tell the winter will be miserable because the "windscreen" don't seem to block much. So how do you keep cold wind or rain off your face? Besides going really slow.

Layer up and WIDE OPEN! A helmet of some kind if you don’t like the cold.

Tie my hoodie down over my hat. Put on a pair of gloves and go.

I had fogging originally on the save face...but I drilled a few smaller holes in the mouth area to allow for the wind while driving to keep my breathing at bay. Worked quite well.

So with the save face and helmet/ goggles. Any fogging issues? I just got some tinted UVEX safety goggles from work. Your nose might get a little cold till you pull up on your first spot but if you cover your nose with a gaiter it might would fog up

Obviously you need a larger fish finder on your console!!! I recommend a 16" Lowrance or 15" Garmin. Just hide behind it while you look at the GPS map. Peak out every now and then to see if you're about to run over somebody. Kidding. I have a full helmet. Good when running in the rain also.

I actually like fishing during the winter-you usually have the lake to yourself. Keep your hands, feet and head warm. And yes if its really cold I keep the speed down and duck down below the windscreen as best I can.

Just man up and go. Even the Skeeter windshield will help some. Glasses or goggles also help.
